Identity/Packaging for a brewery in Vashon Island Washington. The idea behind the logo is that the beer is a beacon of good food and fun, since the brewery is in a heavily wooded area of outside of Seattle.
On the can, Camp Colvos beer is represented in part with a sash of merit badges much like what a Boy Scout wears. The brewery has a series of custom-designed "badges" that patrons may "earn" for completing various activities. Along their journey, customers are awarded a merit badge for each accomplishment while visiting Camp Colvos.
My primary role within the project was developing the cans and marketing collateral, and some later iterations of the logo to suit the packaging more.
Alula is a sustainability consultancy. The "alula" is the part of a bird wing that guides flight, so we mixed a leaf with bird feather for the shape of the service mark.
They specialize in the study of bio-mimicry, which is applying a design solution in nature to something man-made. We applied that to our colors, mixing indigo with a synthetic green in order to avoid the typical "green" cliché.

Rebrand of the popular juice brand. When I was researching Naked as it is now, I discovered that they didn't capture the spirit of the story behind the product (they started out by selling to nude sunbathers).
By making the bottle transparent (naked), and giving the wordmark a sense of movement, the new look gives it the feeling of a boutique juice brand, while harkening back to the brand's roots.
Concept for a cycling companion app. While Strava is a good solution for runners, there's no great resource for both road and mountain biking. Trailhead allows you to interact with other friends that ride, and finds trails based on your riding preferences. There is also a live map that tracks your progress during your ride.
In terms of a visual language, I was inspired by my time riding in Oregon. This is visible in both the imagery and colors used throughout the interface.
Commemorative patch designed for the 10th anniversary of the Beavers winning back to back National Championships in 2006 and 2007. The logo was used on a special throwback jersey, as well as various marketing materials.

Identity for the 2018 Senior Graphic Design Show. The idea is based around the fact that Corvallis is in the wilderness compared to the rest of the programs around the state (PSU, PNCA), and now this our chance to venture out of the woods and show our stuff to local studios.

Collection of work from my time interning at Oregon State athletics. While I've had the opportunity to work with most of the Division 1 sports teams, I've primarily done work for Baseball and Basketball (both Men's and Women's).
Event concept and identity for the OSU graphic design program. Another student (Jeremy Banka) and I realized that there was no way for our classmates to connect with each other on campus. We conceptualized an event that would allow OSU design students to share their unique skills with the rest of the students in the program.
We wanted to have an artisanal feeling to the composition/wordmark, so we took inspiration from butcher shop signs. This is communicated in the poster through the dimensionality of the wordmark, and the camera imagery's similarity to a butcher's diagram.

Frame art for a local custom hand-made bike builder that laser etches custom designs into the tube.
The design tells the life story of a Seattle Native through the cities he has lived in. The salmon represents both him and his family, since not only is it a quintessential Pacific Northwest icon, but salmon always return to where they are born.
